Military Administration

As a member of Special Services, my father had a front-row seat to the absurdities of daily military life. Its not a criticism of the military to accuse it of absurdity, because all large organizations—and all our lives—are full of absurdity if you open your eyes for five minutes. As for the military, in addition to M*A*S*H, there’s also Catch-22 and surely a few hundred other books and movies.
